Hello,
Firstly, thank you for taking the time to view my website. Seeking a therapist can feel daunting but it is the first step towards creating change.
What is it that brings you here? There is not always an answer to this question. Sometimes it can simply be a feeling that you need to talk.
Certain challenges may feel overwhelming or a specific experience may have left you feeling lost, hurt or confused. You might feel disconnected and searching for a deeper understanding of who you are. Grief, heartbreak, sadness, anger, desire and fear are all welcome here. If stress, frustration or anxious thoughts are affecting you I am here to listen and help you find ways to manage situations or cope when life asks a lot of you.
Whatever it is you are dealing with, I invite you to reach out for a chat to see how I can support you.
As an integrative Psychotherapist, I draw on a variety of different approaches to assist you in meeting your needs, such as psychodynamic, person-centered and existential traditions. I am relational and hold an interest in attachment as many of our difficulties in adulthood often stem from early experiences. During our sessions I will often use the therapeutic relationship to encourage exploration into the other relationships in your life, including the one with yourself. What unconscious patterns are shaping the present and what happens when you learn to recognise them? Having a compassionate and confidential space to talk allows us to truly feel seen, heard and understood. It is a place where we can gain insights into ourselves and our place in the world, encouraging healing, growth and change.I have experience of working with a variety of issues which include grief, loss and heartbreak, life changing events, identity, self-esteem, depression, anxiety, childhood and sexual abuse.
My promise to you is that I will support you in whatever journey you are on without judgement. I will not try to fix you or impact the outcome. Instead, I will help you develop the resources to live more authentically with greater self-awareness and understanding.
