Join Hannah and I for a gentle, creative workshop using writing and drawing as tools for relaxation, enjoyment, and self-expression.

No experience or artistic ability is required. We will explore simple accessible exercises designed to help you feel grounded, present and connected to your body.

All you need is a pen, pencil, paper and notebook - or simply bring whichever creative tools and materials you most enjoy using.

Come with curiosity and give yourself time to slow down, explore and enjoy the process.

As a complimentary follow-up, every attendee will also have the option to book a 30 minute 1:1 call with either Hannah or Claire to talk more deeply about anything that emerged through their writing or drawings.

Therapeutic Writing

A wooden table with pink glasses, an open travel planning notebook featuring a world map and a list of travel destinations, a potted succulent plant, and a glass of beer.

Writing has long been used as a therapeutic tool to assist in challenging times. Research shows that writing can be good for our welbeing. Shifting focus from the external to internal world allows us to explore thoughts, emotions, and process experiences.

Releasing our words onto the page is a wonderful opportunity for self-expression. At the start of the workshop, we will relax into the space with a mindfulness exercise. I will then guide us through writing prompts to enhance creativity and encourage words to flow.

Therapeutic writing can take many forms, and regardless of the type of writing you do, a regular practice can be empowering, inspirational and help you find purpose.

This workshop is designed for relaxation and enjoyment.  You are not required to share anything aloud, unless you wish to do so.

All writing levels are welcome, and no experience is needed. All you need is paper and pen, or whichever writing tool works best for you.
